- Supramolecular Chemistry
Synthesis of di- and tri-block ibrid systems via the self-assembly of perfluorocarbon derivatives with hydrocarbons and organic, or inorganic, salts.
Liquid crystals. Halogen bonding.
- Fluorinated Reagents in Organic Synthesis
Oxidative properties of perfluorinated oxaziridines. Exploitation of their chemo-, site-, regio-, diastereo-, enantioselective properties in the synthesis of complex and bioactive products.
- Asymmetric Synthesis of Selectively
Fluorinated Compounds
Chemical and enzymatic methodologies for the synthesis of selectively fluorinated compounds endowed with biological or pharmacological activities (e.g. amino acids, nucleosides, alkaloids).
